The Simplex V1 adjusts to doors from 60 to 90 mm thick. It is a cylinder lock for indoor use in homes, offices, hotels and apartments, and this is the black version.
How many ways can I unlock the Simplex V1?
The Simplex V1 has six unlock methods: fingerprint, keypad, app, remote unlock, smart card and mechanical key. It includes 5 RFID cards and 2 backup keys, and it locks automatically 5 seconds after the door opens.
Can I unlock the Simplex V1 from anywhere?
Yes, but only with a gateway. Remote unlocking from anywhere requires one, and without it the Lumive app controls the lock over Bluetooth within range. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Can the Simplex V1 be used on an outdoor door?
No. The Simplex V1 is for indoor use only, such as homes, offices, hotels and apartments. For an exterior door, look at weather-rated locks such as the Guardian G12 (IP55) or the SafeGuard rim lock, which includes a rain cap.
