Description
Guardian G12 TTlock BLE: A Lock That Pairs to Your Phone, Not to Your Router
The Guardian G12 TTlock BLE is the member of the Guardian G12 range that leaves your home network out of it. The lock does not join Wi-Fi at all. The connection it uses is Bluetooth, running between the lock on the door and the TTLock app on the phone in your hand. Treat that as a choice rather than a gap. A household that would rather not put its front door on the home network still gets app-side control of who opens it. And if you decide later that you want to reach the lock while you are away, the G2 gateway opens that route without you having to change the lock.Direct Pairing Now, Remote Access When You Add the G2 Gateway
Out of the box this model works phone-to-lock. Add the Lumive Smart G2 TTLock Gateway and remote access becomes available, so the lock is reachable when you are not at home. The G2 gateway is a separate product. It is not included with this lock. Nothing about the lock has to be decided up front: start with it on its own, and bring in the gateway later if the way the household uses the door changes. The other two models in the range take the Wi-Fi route instead: the G12 WiFi, and the G12 Camera, which carries the embedded camera and the doorbell function. The body is the same across all three. What the TTLock App Is For
With your phone connected to the lock, the app covers three jobs.- Releasing the lock. Opening the door from the phone counts as the fifth credential, alongside fingerprint, card, passcode and key.
- Temporary passwords and electronic keys. Issue a code that covers one visit — a relative staying the week, a cleaner who comes on a fixed day — instead of handing over one of the permanent codes.
- The unlocking history. The log records entries, so a question about who opened the door on Tuesday has an answer rather than a theory.
Five Credentials, Shared Out However the House Works
Nobody in the household has to adopt anyone else's habit.- Fingerprint. A 3D sensor, around 0.6 seconds to recognise a finger, with detection that tells a real fingerprint apart from a prosthetic replica.
- The TTLock app. Your phone connected straight to the lock, with no network in between.
- M1 RFID card. Tap it on the reader. Handy when you are carrying something, and for household members who are not comfortable using fingerprints.
- Passcode. Entered on the touch keypad; its backlight keeps the digits legible after dark.
- Mechanical key. Supplied in the box, and dependent on nothing.
It Explains Itself Out Loud, in Arabic
Voice prompts come from the lock itself, with Arabic among them, along with English and six further languages. The benefit lands hardest on the people in the house who never open the app at all: someone standing at the keypad hears what the lock is doing instead of having to read it. Supplied as the KSA version, Mortise 4585.An Exterior Door, and a Lock Rated for One
This lock lives on the outside of a door. IP55 covers it against dust and water, and the stated operating range tops out at 60°C and bottoms out at -25°C, so a Riyadh afternoon in August sits well inside it. Auto-lock handles the other everyday risk: the door locks itself again once a set period has passed, remembered or not.The Lock Tells You Before the Battery Does
The lock itself warns you while the battery still has something left, which turns replacement into an errand you schedule rather than an emergency you discover. Leave it too long and a power bank plugged into the USB Type-C port, or any compatible source, supplies enough to get the door open and the battery changed. One Lock, Either Handing
You do not order a left version or a right one. The G12 reverses with a screwdriver, so the same lock suits the door whichever way it opens. Fitting it yourself is the expected route and the supplied instructions are written for that; calling a technician is worth it if the door itself has to be altered first. The Short Version

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Guardian G12 TTLock BLE need Wi-Fi?
No. The G12 TTLock BLE does not join Wi-Fi at all: your phone connects to the lock directly over Bluetooth through the TTLock app. It has no camera or doorbell function, and remote access is possible only if you add the G2 gateway.
How can I unlock the G12 TTLock BLE when I am away from home?
Add the Lumive Smart G2 TTLock Gateway, a separate product that is not included with the lock. The gateway works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only, not 5 GHz, and should stay within about 10 meters of the lock. Without it, control is phone to lock over Bluetooth.
Will the Guardian G12 TTLock BLE fit my door?
The G12 TTLock BLE is the KSA version in the Mortise 4585 size, and it reverses with a screwdriver, so you do not choose a left or right version. Check that your existing lock body is 4585, and send Lumive your door's thickness and photos on WhatsApp if you are unsure.
What if the G12 TTLock BLE battery runs low?
The lock itself warns you while the battery still has charge, so you can replace it on your schedule. If it runs out, a power bank on the USB Type-C port, or any compatible source, supplies enough power to open the door and change the battery, and the mechanical key also works.
How many fingerprints can the G12 TTLock BLE store, and how many ways can I unlock it?
It stores up to 200 fingerprints, 100 or more passcodes and 100 or more RFID cards, each with its own allowance. There are five ways in: fingerprint, the TTLock app, an M1 RFID card, a passcode on the backlit touch keypad, and the mechanical key.
Can I install the G12 TTLock BLE myself, and what does installation cost?
Fitting it yourself is the expected route, and the supplied instructions are written for that. Calling a technician is worth it if the door itself has to be altered. Lumive installation costs SAR 120 per lock when you buy from Lumive, and includes app setup and a full test.
What door thickness does the Guardian G12 TTLock BLE fit?
The Guardian G12 TTLock BLE fits doors from 35 to 55 mm thick and uses the Mortise 4585 lock-body size. Measure your door and lock body before ordering, and send Lumive the measurements and photos on WhatsApp if you are unsure.
What warranty does the Guardian G12 TTLock BLE have?
The Guardian G12 TTLock BLE is covered by Lumive's warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, against defects in materials and workmanship. Repair, exchange or, in some cases, a refund is available, and normal battery wear and misuse are not covered.
