Lumive One-Year Limited Warranty for Lumive and Lumive-Branded Accessories

Introduction:

Welcome to Lumive, where we stand by our commitment to delivering exceptional smart home products. To provide you with peace of mind, we offer the Lumive One-Year Limited Warranty for our Lumive and Lumive-branded accessories. This warranty complements your rights under consumer law and ensures that you have confidence in your purchase.

Warranty Period:

We proudly warrant your Lumive-branded hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of your original retail purchase (“Warranty Period”). This warranty is valid when the product is used in accordance with the guidelines detailed in Lumive’s user manuals. We also extend this warranty to customers who have purchased the product through a third-party retailer.

What’s Covered:

During the Warranty Period, Lumive offers the following options:

  1. Repair: We will repair your product at no cost, using either new parts or Lumive genuine parts that have been rigorously tested and meet our functional standards.
  2. Exchange: If repair is not feasible, we will exchange the product with an identical model or, with your approval, a product that features the same or substantially similar attributes as the original product.
  3. Refund: In some cases, we may provide a refund equal to the original purchase price.

Exclusions:

Please note that this warranty does not cover:

  • Normal depletion of consumable parts, such as batteries, unless the depletion is due to a material or workmanship defect.
  • Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or repairs not performed by Lumive.

Data and Software:

We cannot guarantee the preservation of data and software during the repair or replacement process. Lumive is not responsible for any losses, including but not limited to data loss or financial consequences.

Limitations of Liability:

This warranty does not limit your rights in the following cases:

  • In the event of death or personal injury according to mandatory product liability laws.
  • Instances of fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence.
  • A culpable breach of major contractual obligations. In such cases, our liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for the sale contract in question.

How to Obtain Warranty Service:

To initiate a warranty claim, contact Lumive’s support team. They will guide you through the process, which may involve shipping the faulty product to an authorized service center or dropping it off at the nearest center.
Service options, parts availability, and response times may vary depending on your country.

Your Legal Rights:

This warranty exists in addition to your rights granted by consumer law. You have the choice to seek service under the Lumive One-Year Limited Warranty or your consumer law rights.

Governing Law:

The terms of this warranty are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which the product was purchased.
